Description
Hand carved from a single block of marble, this dish carries the weight and permanence of something built to outlast whatever it was first used for. The stone has aged into a soft grey-brown, its surface scattered with fine pitting and scratches that only decades of use could leave behind.
A pointed handle extends from one side, tapered rather than rounded, giving the whole piece a distinct silhouette. Fill it with candles and let the wax settle into the worn texture as it burns, use it to gather small objects on a console, or leave it empty and let the stone speak for itself.
