In another life, this almirah stood in a room where the things worth displaying were placed behind glass and left to be seen. That life left its mark on every surface. The teak is bleached sandy by decades of light.

This antique Indian teak almirah is display in its purest form, full glass-panel doors, four open interior shelves, a ball-foot base, and a stepped cornice at the crown. The teak has bleached to a soft sandy grey, the interior planked back showing knots and natural grain through the glass. Nothing is concealed. Nothing is dressed up. Just the wood and what you choose to place within it.

Sourced from India by hand. Original brass handle. No restoration.

For a living room or dining room where display is a considered practice. A bedroom piece for the collector who edits carefully.

  • Material: Solid teak, full glass panel doors, brass hardware
  • Dimensions: 78 × 43 × 13 in (H × W × D)
  • Condition: Antique, naturally aged, one of a kind
  • Origin: India

Use it as a living room display cabinet for ceramics and gathered objects across four open shelves. Style it in a dining room for displaying crockery. Place it in a study or library as a pale bookcase. Use it in a bedroom as an open wardrobe display. The bleached sandy tone and full glass panels suit any minimal or Japandi-influenced interior.

Care: Dry cloth only. The bleached sandy patina needs no treatment.

Rooted in Craft. Chosen with Intention. Built to Outlast Everything Made Today.

Every object in our collection has been sourced directly from its origin, handled personally by us, and researched before a single word is written about it. We choose stone for the density of its patina, teak for the grain of its age, iron for the weight of its making, and clay for the honesty of the hand that shaped it. Nothing here was produced. Nothing was commissioned. Nothing was made to look old. Every piece exists exactly as time made it — and we chose it because we believed it deserved a home that understood that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the piece look exactly like it does in the photographs?

We photograph every object in natural light and from multiple angles to show you exactly what you are getting — including its imperfections, patina, and texture. What you see is what arrives at your door.

How do I know these products are genuinely vintage?

Every piece is personally sourced and handpicked by us. We research each object's origin, age, and history before it enters our collection. The story we tell is real — not marketing.

Am I receiving the exact object shown in the listing?

Yes, always. Every object in our collection is one-of-a-kind. The piece in the photograph is the exact piece that will be packed and shipped to you. There are no duplicates, no alternatives, no substitutions.

The imperfections look significant. Should I be concerned?

Not at all. The cracks, the worn surfaces, the uneven edges — these are not flaws. They are a century of life made visible. We describe every significant marking in the product listing so there are no surprises.
