The upper section of this antique Indian almirah features arched glass panels that open to reveal interior shelving, light and air moving through the piece. Below, two dramatically hand-carved sunburst doors conceal storage behind their radiating detail. The contrast between open and closed, light and carved shadow, is what makes this piece extraordinary.

Solid teak throughout. Original brass latch hardware. The wood has aged to a warm honey-amber, worn at the edges, marked by time, alive in the way only genuinely old things are.

For a dining room, a living room, or anywhere a home needs an object that earns its place.
