Dark as aged leather. Solid as something that has stood in the same place for a hundred years.

This is the almirah for interiors that understand the power of contrast. Deep espresso teak, naturally darkened over decades, full glass-panel doors, iron hardware. No carving, no embellishment. Just weight, depth, and presence.

Sourced from India by hand, this piece has aged to near-black at its edges, with a rich chocolate undertone that deepens in low light. The interior shelving is open and ready, for books, ceramics, collected vessels, or simply the few things you choose to display with care.

Against a white or pale plaster wall, it is the only piece a room needs.

  • Material: Solid teak wood, glass panes, iron hardware
  • Dimensions: 74 × 49 × 13 in (H × W × D)
  • Condition: Antique, naturally aged, one of a kind
  • Origin: India

Use it as a living room display cabinet where its dark tone anchors a pale room. Style it in a dining room for storing and displaying ceramics against a white wall. Place it in a study or library as a bookcase where its darkness makes the objects inside glow. Against a white or pale plaster wall, it needs nothing else.

Care: Dry or barely damp cloth only. The dark patina deepens with age, preserve it.

Rooted in Craft. Chosen with Intention. Built to Outlast Everything Made Today.

Every object in our collection has been sourced directly from its origin, handled personally by us, and researched before a single word is written about it. We choose stone for the density of its patina, teak for the grain of its age, iron for the weight of its making, and clay for the honesty of the hand that shaped it. Nothing here was produced. Nothing was commissioned. Nothing was made to look old. Every piece exists exactly as time made it — and we chose it because we believed it deserved a home that understood that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the piece look exactly like it does in the photographs?

We photograph every object in natural light and from multiple angles to show you exactly what you are getting — including its imperfections, patina, and texture. What you see is what arrives at your door.

How do I know these products are genuinely vintage?

Every piece is personally sourced and handpicked by us. We research each object's origin, age, and history before it enters our collection. The story we tell is real — not marketing.

Am I receiving the exact object shown in the listing?

Yes, always. Every object in our collection is one-of-a-kind. The piece in the photograph is the exact piece that will be packed and shipped to you. There are no duplicates, no alternatives, no substitutions.

The imperfections look significant. Should I be concerned?

Not at all. The cracks, the worn surfaces, the uneven edges — these are not flaws. They are a century of life made visible. We describe every significant marking in the product listing so there are no surprises.
