Description
A century of an Indian kitchen is written into this stone. This marble kharal was used daily for grinding, preparing and working with raw ingredients. The patina, the surface texture and the natural colour variation across the stone are evidence of that history and nothing else.
Use it as a catchall on an entryway console for keys and loose objects. Rest it on a kitchen counter as a decorative anchor beside oils and ceramics. Place it on a shelf with a single candle inside and the shelf becomes something worth looking at.
